Stuff People Say About Us

One of my favorite comments that has come up after our last couple of shows is that people feel like they have been transported to New York. Part of that is coming from taking on music from Broadway musicals, but part of it is coming from a certain feeling you get in New York. Dark little clubs where jazz players explore the limits of their instruments and the pulse of the city is all around, upstairs, downstairs, down the hall, just outside the door - it's a vibe - an energy - moments of clarity transcending chaos. Something magical is in the air here and we're hearing it and bringing it out to play and share with you. Hope you can feel it, too.

Art + Sol SweetART Serenade on Canyon Road

Join Russell Scanlon and me for an early evening of romantic jazz tunes at ViVO Contemporary, located at 725 Canyon Road. We'll be playing from 3-5 pm at this much loved gallery. Ann Laser, artist and founder of the Teabag Project will have her fabulous wearable art on display in addition to the gallery's current show. Ann's scarves and wraps make lovely gifts - just in time for Valentine's Day gifting to your sweetheart. Please say hello when you stop by!
